Postbox: The Art of Racing in the Rain

I can’t stop smiling. 🙂 This beauty came in the mail today. I ordered it almost a month ago, after I finished reading Diana Wynne Jones’s Dogsbody. Before I start gushing about Dogsbody, I must warn you: I am an ardent animal-lover. I was so moved by Dogsbody that I decided to read a lot of animal-related books this year. Like the books in which animals play integral roles.

While I was hanging out at Goodreads, I stumbled upon a couple of useful lists – 100 Books For Animal Lovers and Books for Dog Lovers. I browsed the list, read a lot of reviews and ordered two books: The Art of Racing in the Rain and Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World. I am glad I did. Dewey… will reach me in a week.

Also, as I intend to read a lot of books on animal, please drop a comment if you would like to help me with some names. I would love to add to my TBR. 🙂

Now, the worst conundrum is which one should I read next. I received Fahrenheit 451 yesterday, and I reckoned I would start that today. But, this dog’s face is enchanting and I am not able to make up mind. Fahrenheit 451 is a small book. Maybe, I should finish that first. And, bask in this beauty… leisurely! 🙂
